Recently, the Provincial Intellectual Property Office issued the "Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property High-Level Talent Development Promotion Measures" as Document No. 1 of 2024, fully implementing the deployment requirements of the central and provincial party committee and government on strengthening talent work in the new era, and further promoting the development of high-level intellectual property talents.
The measures propose 13 incentive measures from aspects such as encouraging high-level talents to contribute ideas and suggestions, promoting exchange and temporary positions, setting up special research topics, opening up intellectual property information resources, and providing public welfare services for intellectual property. They aim to fully leverage the role of high-level talents in policy formulation, theoretical research, assisting enterprises to strengthen their industrial chains, and serving society, maximizing the motivation and guidance of high-level talents to contribute to the construction of a strong intellectual property province and providing intellectual support for the high-quality economic and social development of Jiangsu.
In recent years, the Provincial Intellectual Property Office has established a talent work leadership group, held provincial intellectual property talent work conferences, and further increased the efforts to cultivate intellectual property talents. It has successively introduced a series of policies and measures conducive to the development of intellectual property talents, such as the "Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Research and Talent Training Institution Management Measures," systematically advancing the construction of talent training carriers such as intellectual property colleges, intellectual property training bases, intellectual property research institutions, and intellectual property remote education platforms. It has also systematically and professionally promoted training for intellectual property management and law enforcement personnel, corporate executives, intellectual property directors, intellectual property professionals, and patent agents. It has taken the lead in conducting professional middle and senior title evaluation work for intellectual property in the country, laying a solid foundation for the construction of high-level intellectual property talent teams in the province.
