Let Inspiration Be Seen, Let Creativity Be Respected — A Student Guide to Avoiding Intellectual Property Pitfalls
In the context of rapid developments in digital innovation and artificial intelligence, intellectual property (IP) has become increasingly embedded in students’ academic study, content creation, research, and entrepreneurial practice. To mark the 2026 National Intellectual Property Publicity Week, the XJTLU Intellectual Property Information Service Center (IPISC) is launching the online exhibition “Let Inspiration Be Seen, Let Creativity Be Respected — A Student Guide to Avoiding Intellectual Property Pitfalls.” The exhibition features ten representative IP topics closely related to university students and presents them through a structure of Key Concepts, Case Stories, and Practical Tips. Covering themes such as research achievements protection, copyright boundaries, ownership of AI-generated content, software and trademark protection, and risk prevention in entrepreneurship, the exhibition aims to help students and staff identify common intellectual property risks, strengthen IP awareness, and enhance their capacity to protect innovative outputs.
