On the afternoon of September 17, 2025, XJTLU Intellectual Property Information Service Centre (IPISC), in collaboration with the Suzhou Industrial Park Public Cultural Centre, successfully held the "Intellectual Property Field Trip". This event aimed to promote a deep integration of young talents with regional industrial development, with the first phase focusing on the nanotechnology industry.

The activity attracted nearly 20 students from Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. It kicked off with a visit to the Nanopolis Suzhou exhibition hall, where students gained insights into the applications of nanotechnology and its profound impact on modern industries. In the subsequent session, students visited Wintech Nano (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., where they learned about the company’s development history, industry positioning, and business model. They also toured the laboratory and witnessed various advanced testing equipment required for semiconductor chip testing, further broadening their horizons.

During the activity, Dr. Liu Lingxiao, Senior Technical Manager at Wintech Nano, shared with the students the important role of testing and analysis technologies in the development of the IC industry, as well as the protection of intellectual property for enterprises. He illustrated, with real cases, how a tracer can help researchers identify the causes of chip failures, sparking the students' interest and prompting deeper reflection.

Through this event, students not only gained a deeper understanding of industry frontiers but also clarified their future career plans and strengthened their connections with the industry.

XJTLU IPISC will continue to organise similar activities to further promote the growth of young talents and the development of the regional economy, injecting more youthful wisdom and innovative momentum into the emerging industries of Suzhou Industrial Park.
