On May 31, the XJTLU Innovation and Education Institute (Greater Bay Area) and the XJTLU 3.0 Greater Bay Area Demonstration Park (Nansha) were established in Guangzhou. The XJTLU Innovation and Education Institute (Greater Bay Area) is jointly built by XJTLU (hereinafter referred to as "XJTLU") and the Management Committee of the Nansha Economic and Technological Development Zone, aiming to create an education and innovation ecosystem driven by interest, lifelong learning, corporate R&D, and industry upgrading, contributing to the construction of an international science and technology innovation center in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

During the launch ceremony of the Suzhou-Guangzhou dual-city connection, the XJTLU Innovation and Education Institute (Greater Bay Area) announced its first four construction projects: the XJTLU Future Education Institute (Greater Bay Area), the XJTLU Harmony Innovation Ecosystem Research Institute (Greater Bay Area), the XJTLU Modern Industry Research Institute (Greater Bay Area), and the XJTLU Intellectual Property Research Institute (Greater Bay Area).

It is reported that the XJTLU Innovation and Education Institute (Greater Bay Area) is committed to fostering a lifelong learning and innovation entrepreneurship ecosystem. It will integrate resources from universities, government, and enterprises to build six ecological platforms: a learning supermarket, a technology center, a mentor center, a master community, a makerspace, and an industrial cluster, ultimately forming a highly integrated ecosystem of education, industry, and innovation.
