On June 16, the Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Office issued a "Notice on the Announcement of the List of Recognized Public Service Points for Intellectual Property Information in Jiangsu Province for 2021." After a series of steps including application recommendations, formal reviews, expert evaluations, collective decision-making, and public announcement, XJTLU was successfully selected as one of the first public service points for intellectual property information in Jiangsu Province.
The application process was led by the Intellectual Property Information Service Center of XJTLU (hereinafter referred to as the "Center"). Established in November 2020, the Center leverages the rich intellectual property information resources and professional talent of the XJTLU Library, collaborating with the Office of Research Productivity and Innovation and the XJTLU International Innovation Park. It provides comprehensive information services for the creation, application, protection, and management of intellectual property at the university, promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements while supporting local economic development with intellectual property information services.
Moving forward, the Center will follow the requirements outlined in the "Implementation Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of a Public Service System for Intellectual Property Information under the New Situation" (Su Zhi Fa [2020] No. 157) issued by the Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Office. It will focus on full-process services related to intellectual property, expand the application scenarios of intellectual property information services, and build a distinctive and professional public service platform for intellectual property information. The Center is committed to effectively integrating intellectual property into the university's discipline construction, technological innovation, talent cultivation, and achievement transformation, supporting scientific research, local economic development, and technological innovation.
