On the morning of April 11, 2024, led by the Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) Intellectual Property Information Service Center (IPISC) and in collaboration with the university's intellectual property-related departments, welcomed a group of 40 people from the China Intellectual Property Training Center (Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City) Practical Base Special Study Group. The purpose of this event was to share and discuss XJTLU's experiences and achievements in scientific research and innovation cooperation, intellectual property information services, and other areas.
The study group first visited the XJTLU International Innovation Port, where they learned about the innovative ecosystem established by the Innovation Port, including innovative consulting services, concept validation platforms, entrepreneurial incubation guidance, and the introduction of venture capital; then, at the XJTLU Library, librarians introduced the history, current status, and collection resources of the library to the representatives. As the core place for academic resources and knowledge dissemination, the library showcased its rich collection and modern facilities to the representatives; at the XJTLU Museum, the representatives also had the opportunity to appreciate the diverse exhibits of the museum and gained a detailed understanding of the university's development history, historical and cultural heritage, and related scientific research achievements.
Finally, the event concluded with a lively discussion, where the study group and XJTLU representatives engaged in dialogue on topics such as XJTLU's scientific research and innovation cooperation practices, intellectual property information services, and other issues, promoting the exchange of technology and talent between enterprises and universities.
