On the afternoon of June 20th, the Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) Library and  Intellectual Property Information Service Center conducted a business exchange with the Sci-Tech Novelty Retrieval service team from Soochow University Library. This event aimed to strengthen cooperation and exchange in the field of Sci-Tech Novelty Retrieval between the two libraries, thereby improving the related business levels.

Firstly, the librarians of XJTLU Library provided a detailed introduction to their library's basic situation and their experiences in intellectual property information services. They elaborated on the library's structure, service contents, and efforts in supporting research and teaching, which received high praise from the participating members of Soochow University Library.

Following this, the librarians from Soochow University Library shared their experiences in Sci-Tech Novelty Retrieval services and the latest developments in this field. The participants actively interacted and discussed, creating a harmonious and lively atmosphere.

In the final exchange session, representatives from both sides shared typical cases of information services in their respective libraries and discussed the opportunities and challenges for libraries in the AI era.

Through this exchange activity, the understanding and mutual trust between the two parties were further deepened, laying a solid foundation for future in-depth cooperation. Both libraries will continue to deepen their collaboration, jointly promoting the progress and innovation of technological novelty search business and intellectual property information services.
