The Zhengzhou Municipal Committee of the Democratic League conducted a special research trip to Suzhou

On August 2nd, Wang Yuefeng, the director of the Zhengzhou Municipal Committee of the Democratic League and the chairman of the Political Participation and Consultation Committee, led a research team to Suzhou to conduct a research on the topic of "Increasing financial support for the transformation of high-value patents to enhance the scientific and technological innovation capabilities of enterprises." Cheng Chuang, the vice chairman of the Suzhou Municipal Committee of the Democratic League, and Heng Xiangjin, the secretary-general of the Suzhou Municipal Committee of the Democratic League, accompanied the research trip.

At the research symposium, leaders from relevant departments such as the Suzhou Municipal Market Supervision Administration (Intellectual Property Bureau), the Science and Technology Bureau, and the Finance Bureau introduced the policy formulation and implementation effects of Suzhou in terms of financial support for the transformation of high-value patents. Both sides engaged in discussions and exchanges.

After the symposium, the research team visited the XJTLU Intellectual Property Information Service Center for on-site research, toured the XJTLU Museum, and held discussions to understand the advanced experiences of Suzhou in the application and transformation of innovative technologies in universities. Bi Xin, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee, Chief Digital Officer, and Director of the Knowledge and Information Center at XJTLU, participated in the symposium and introduced the achievements of XJTLU IPISC in assisting regional industrial innovation practices. The center insists on relying on the advantages of university scientific and technological intelligence services, fully exerting its role as an industrial think tank, providing intelligent support for government decision-making, and offering diverse and precise intellectual property information services for universities and enterprises.

Wang Yuefeng expressed that he will fully draw on Suzhou's successful experience, combine it with the actual situation of Zhengzhou, and propose feasible policy recommendations to contribute to the transformation of high-value patents and financial support work in the local area. The XJTLU Intellectual Property Information Service Center warmly welcomed the visit of the research team. The center looks forward to continuing to play its role in intelligence services, promoting innovation and transformation of intellectual property, and contributing more wisdom and strength to the economic development of the region.
