Start from 2015, the annual E-Discovery Week has been accompanying XJTLUers for 9 years. Now the 10th E-Discovery Week 2024 is coming!

E-Discovery Week 2024 engages students and staff with various prize-winning activities, offering a great opportunity for you to learn about the Library's high-quality electronic resources.

Event Location: Library Entrance Hall, SIP/XEC Campus

Event Time: October 7 - 11, 2024

Activity 1: E-Discovery Week Challenge

E-resource exhibition booths will be set up at the Library’s main entrance hall, SIP campus & XEC Campus, showcasing popular featured electronic resources within the Library’s collection. Learn more about the resources and take part in the E-Discovery Challenge to win a prize.

Activity 2: E-Resource Training Workshops

The Library will arrange several e-resource workshops to introduce various subject databases and smart searching skills to help you seek out valid information and draw conclusions about a research topic. 10 participants will be selected to win a prize. Click "Workshops" to browse all the training courses and register for the ones that interest you! You may join any number of these workshops to maximize your chance to win a prize.

Activity 3: AI Adventure Game

The Library will arrange Library AI Adventure Game in the Interactive commons at the Library’s main entrance hall to help XJTLUers learn more about Library AI portal and Library AI tools. Click "Board Game" to reserve a seat.

Activity 4: InfoClinic

The information experts will provide consultation services with two main topics: Search Tips for E-Resources and Citation Management Skills.

Activity 5: WeChat Interaction

You are welcomed to share the E-Discovery Week WeChat message to your WeChat Moments and collect a nice gift at the information desk by showing it. Gifts will be handed out on a "first come, first serve" basis.
