On October 18, 2024, the five-day "Cartoon Exhibition on Intellectual Property Protection" exhibition successfully concluded at the SIP campus of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. The exhibition was co-hosted by the university's Intellectual Property Information Service Center(IPISC) and the Suzhou Intellectual Property Court, aiming to popularize intellectual property knowledge through the medium of cartoons.
The cartoons showcased in this exhibition were created by the renowned Suzhou cartoonist Xu Tao and covered 50 works across various legal fields, including copyright law, trademark law, patent law, and anti-unfair competition law. These cartoons, characterized by their humorous style and accessible language, attracted a large audience of students and faculty, promoting the dissemination of intellectual property culture within the campus.
During the exhibition, students and faculty of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University stopped by the exhibition area in the north-south tunnel to admire these vivid cartoon works, which deepened their understanding of the importance of intellectual property. The organizers hope that such activities will enhance awareness of intellectual property protection on campus and foster a culture of respecting knowledge, valuing innovation, adhering to the law, and promoting fair competition.
